source a known good used spool valve assy from the OBD1 variants and swap them out, the best plug and play solution for you.

connect a jumper wire between A4 and D6 at the ECU to fool it into thinking the vtec pressure switch is there and working.

you can add a pressure switch if you want..jdm vtec sol does not come with a pressure switch on them..you can either get a usdm vtec sol or drill and tap the jdm one

So I haven't been able to find a used USDm Vtec with the switch.
Can I still drive my car like that, I know Vtec is not working.
Does anyone know some place in southern California that carries them?

Yes you can drive the car. Why not just do what I said in my previous post which is basically free.

either what 94EG said or get a pressure switch. US ECU's look for a vtec pressure switch were JDM Ecu's do not.

obd1 jdm P30 will look for the sensor, mine throws a code if you unplug it

Well I'm running a usdm p30.
An I'm confused about how the obd2 don't have the pressure switch.
Does anyone know if my head is a Obd2 it's stamp p3-4

not sure if the head is obd 1 or 2, it doesn't matter they are the same anyway, it's the sensors that are different between 1 and 2.

if you have an obd2 vtec solenoid it will be missing the green plug in this pic, but it will have the spot for it but it won't be tapped or threaded

hope this clears it up for you

JDM OBD B-series engines don't have a vtec pressure switch and the corresponding ECU doesn't look for one. All the pressure switch does is tell the ECU that there is sufficient oil pressure to activate vtec without starving the head for oil.
