in my experience the knock sensor doesn't actually do anything to help your engine in case of knocking or in your case the knock sensor mal functioning. so it is prolly is something else. what makes you think your down on power?

I call BS. The knock sensors purpose is to detect detonation. If it detects any detonation, it retards the timing and runs in "safe" mode. So it stands to reason that if the KS is defective it could affect performance.
Someone else back me up.

That's what I would imagine.

Make sure your MAP and TPS are not switched (same plug and very close), mine were for a day and it felt like a slug, switched em back and it was like new.

Have you changed out the fuel pump yet. I just did on my b16 swap and it helped a bit on my 1/4 mile times, eventhough they still suck due to a bad driver.

if u are saying that it makes 140 without any other mods done too it then thats about right. it has 160 at the flywheel. so with the appropriate drive train loss 140 is ballpark
