so i had my automatic swapped for a manual transmission and the code comes up as 19. it says in the book transmission lock up solenoid not working or not plugged in what can i do to remedy this? will putting a manual ecu in fix the error? i was calling junk yards today and someone told me to replace the ecu i need a number off of it to match the replacement or else the thing wont work. i dont think it matters but is it true?

of course you need a manual ecu. that auto ecu you are using is looking fot that solonoid and since you probably don thave it hooked up anymore since the auto tranny is gone its gonna throw a code. i see you have a 95 ex. you need to get a P28 ecu from a 92-95 civic ex or SI model.

you are running auto ecu. look on the side and post up what the numbers are
