Re: auto to 5 spd type r or h22 (mini-cRx)
Search is your best friend, but for some reason, the search archive is disabled. It's really up to you and what you plan on doing for the car. Answer yourself a few questions....
What's your budget??
Weekend car or daily driver??
Are you into Auto-x or Drag (track)??
You could never go wrong with a B18C block since B series parts are more easier to find than H22. H22 is more bang for the buck but requires custom mounts, axles, etc. Type R is a good all around track motor, many people say leave the R spec as is (N/A) although it's not common for you to find a few boosted Type R's in the Type R forum. It's really up to you. You want torque H22, boost? B18C N/A? R spec B18C Of course there's a price difference between them.
