another h22 vs. b18c
alright i know this has been discussed many times but theirs still things that annoy me. so the h22 produces the same HP as a b18c5 but h22 has more torque. so why would so many people chose the b18c5 over the h22. i know with mounts and everything itll be about the same price but still its more powerful. and the weight difference isnt that much of a difference correct me if im wrong. the only excuses ive heard are its played out and its also harder to upgrade. so can anyone inform me on this.
p.s. i dont drive yet teeheee 2 more weeks!

im goin through this same kinda problem between a k20 and a b18c...haha.
from what ive heard (anyone correct me if im wrong) the reason ppl do more b series swaps is because there alot easier to swap than h series.

The H22 have a wire transmission, witch means that you will need some modifikations to the chassi.
The B18 have almost the same transmission type as the motor that was inside the (in this case) a Civic. The only thing you need to replace are the shift linkage.
What about the k20, here in Sweden. There are some guys that swaps that to. But there is more to modify. And sending away the ECU to another country..... and stuff like that. And no one here in Sweden have ever tryed to (go through the car test center. (dont know what it is called)).
And I think the B18 is lighter to, got higher rpm max too I think.... The last stuff I am not shure about.

i think that if you havent started driving yet, then you shouldnt be concerned about these motors. get alittle practice under the belt before you try to go fast. This is how people die.
