i have a 92 hatch with a gsr motor but that isnt cutting it anymore its too slow for me. i was thinking about buying a ITR swap. but then again i dont have the funds. so i thought about the NX kit. is anybody running this in their hatch with a b series swap and if so what are your times with a 55shot with the basic i/h/e?

I have a 92 VX with a 99 B18C1 swap, basic bolt-ons yadda yadda and have ran a best time of 13.7@102.3mph. I tried a 55 shot Zex dry kit (borrowed from a friend) one day at the track just to see how it would do. Since it's really simple to install/unistall I thought I'd give it a try. I ran 2 13.2 passes and then a 12.9@107.8mph.
It's definitely a nice and cheaply priced power adder, but I would never use it on the street. If you plan on using any form of forced induction, just make sure your motor can handle it and that you tune so there's no detonation

I could care what the mods think about me, they are here to help keep the forum from falling apart. When the rules are given, they are for a reason. If all anyone ever saw were "Do these rims look good?" "Hey look what I got." "So dude I beat this mustang" the people that actually know what they are doing would just bail. This is a TECH forum. And asking what the times he would run if he did certain things to his car is eracing, how can you not see that? If he wants to see times, he can sit and read the drag forum, or sit and sift through search results.

ok let me rephase it then so splitime can be happy. with the instal of a 50 shot NX kit should i see some good hp gains? and if any1 is running this can they tell me about their setup and what their results are and if they are happy with it.

Heh, its not about me being happy, and its nothing against you. I just appreciate the tech that is here and want to see it continue, not turn into the stuff i mentioned. Nothing targeted at you fyi.

if you happen to be so tech saavy that anything but that disgruntles you, then why are you wasting your time bothering us... imean, it's your choice to come here and argue what's within the rules or not.. that's the thing about Honda Tech... GREAT INFORMATION.. but some people are just a wee bit too high strung / tense about everything.. people need to relax...

well member's forum was obliterated... so now what..
everyone should just be cool with eachother. all we really need to worry about are the "Domestic pride / Japanese haters" Infact, even "ricer's" should be allowed in to an extent.. meybe we can help convert them and set them straight... i used to be one... fucked up my dash console in my CRX too... not proud of it but im happy H-T helped me change my views..
