Nitrous on stock d16y7?
For some unfortunate reasons, my engine swap will not happen this year. I still wanna run at the track some this year. My buddy is sellinga wet nx kit for cheap and I was thinking of picking it up. How well will my stock d16 hold up to a 50 shot? Thanks.

I ran a wet 75 on that motor with zero problems with only a fpr. You can safely run a much higher shot than 50. Nitrous is actually very safe if you know what your doing, it just gets a bad name from kids running 3 bottles a day dry through their motors and missing shifts and blowing their motors and blaming the nitrous. I have run nitrous on 3 different cars and have never had any problems with any of them and I always ran a 75 shot. Trust me you will be safe.

It will work fine.. Just read up on nitrous and get all the facts and do's/dont's on it.. I would also get a msd rpm window switch so you can take off on full throttle but turn on the nitrous at a good rpm and turn it off before you hit the rev-limiter..
