Default Analyze my times(2000 Si)

I ran my best time at the track on friday. Weather was real humid and fairly hot. I ran a 15.049@92mph with a 2.424 60 ft. You think with a better 60'(2.2-2.3) I can break into the 14's? Is this about right for my car with my current mods? This is on the stock shitty michelin tires btw.

My mods are as listed:
-Iceman CAI
-DC 4-1 USDM header
-Thermal R&D 2 1/4" catback with N1 muffler w/test pipe
-FPR(38 psi)
-Exedy Pressure Plate/6 puck sprung hub disk
-no power steering belt
-minor weight reduction(CF hood,15" Rota slipstreams, no spare tire/jack/backseat)

yes you can hit 14's...a 2.3 60 ft should do it. I would expect something like a 14.8 with a 2.2 60ft.

Dude--you're in great shape. a) you're a good driver and b) You must've gotten a strong motor. Those are excellent numbers for such minor mods and a better lauch will absolutely get you into the 14's.

Nice work.

i ran 15.8's with a completely stock b16 in a 92 hatch. So that seems like all those mods actually did make a difference.

Great time Yes that is good driving to get that time with a lower MPH like that. Like they say lower that 60 ft and 14's will come!

Thanks alot for the input guys. And for the guy who asked about stock fuel pressure, I think mine was at around 40-41 psi stock.

thats awesome man
if you unbolted your exhaust for a run
youd be in the 14's hehe
but seriously, try to play with your launch, i rarley get a 2.3 60' with the b16 (cant slip the clutch and HORRIBLE tires) but if you have a good clutch
try to launch from like 6000 and slowly slip the clutch out
youll understand how to do it after a couple practices
thats how you should net a 2.2-2.3 60'
then say hello to 14's
good luck.

Yeah, try slipping the clutch at a pretty decent RPM. I usually slip it out at about 4500 or so on a stock clutch so I would imagine you can go higher. With that or even goin from 3500-4000 RPM on the launch I'm still getting 2.34-2.38 60'. Those are very impressive times for an Si. Congrats

I'll bet you're at a solid 150 to the wheels.
