Air/Fuel Gauge giving a CEL
Ok, ever since i installed my Autometer AF gauge Ive had this weird CEL. IT started about 3 weeks after installing it. It would come on after driving the car 25-20 mins and would say code 1. If you turned the car off and back on it would not show the CEL until you drove it for a few minutes. Would having the AF gauge tied into the harness at the ECU give a CEL? Or is my oxygen sensor on its way out?
Hmmm the gauge shouldnt give you a CEL, maybe the way you wired it? Uninstall the gauge and see if it happens. If it goes away there is something wrong with your instilation if not it could be just a coincidence.
good luck
good luck
i know its wired into the right wire (the white signal wire...i cant remember the slot) but as far as connections...i think i screwed up using the crimp connectors instead of soldering it.
wait you just have a 92 LX?
You hsould only have a wire for power, a ground and the last one thats the signal, which you can run through the firewall and splice right into the 02 sensor on the header....
well good luck
