Air Bag Problem
My friend just picked up a clean 93 CX for 200 bucks. Catch was it had been in a small accident and the airbag deplyed. He got everything fixed except the air bag problem. THe fuse blows out and the car shuts off. He was told it was going to cost him 2000 bucks to get the sensor and everything fixed. I heard you can just bypass this though.
My question is how do you bypass this sensor. I know there will be no air bag but its going to be a track car anyway.

Re: Air Bag Problem (JayDeeEmVeeTek)
This is a great question and I hope somebody can answer it for you. I'm sure that bypassing the sensor is as simple as grounding a wire, but I'm not sure which one so I won't put that down in stone yet

the airbag would have nothing to do with the car shutting off it has to be something else maybe a newer car but not a 92 hatch we have fixed plenty of these at our shop with blown airbags and havent had this promblem hope this help
