Aftermarket headlight problem

Aftermarket headlight problem
OK, this is driving me nuts! I have tested the bulb, continuity, and I have used a voltage meter to determine that I have 12v all the way to the new connections to the bulb. But the bulb will not illuminate on the left side. The same bulb, moved to the right works fine. move it back to the left, not at all. Everything that I can think of checks out good. I even bought a new bulb and moved the bulb from the working side to the other and no luck. There must be some other stupid little thing I haven't tried. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks, JT

Re: Aftermarket headlight problem
are u sure u have 12v power to the actual headlight side thats not workin? if so... depending on the car could be that the pins on the connector may not be contacting the pins on the head light itself... and if there no pwoer on tht side doulbe check ur headlight switch... and if nothin thn ur guna have to perform voltage drops from the swtch all the way to the headlight itself to find where the exact point of where the voltage is lost
