01 civic headlight problem

Default 01 civic headlight problem

hello guys..

my 01 civic's right headlight low beams are not working. left is okay

and both headlight high beams work...

any idea what might be the problem? if the bulb is failed how can I change it?

tried to take it out but couldn't...

its hard to change your bulbs, its in a really hard place to reach. if your hands are too big, take the headlights out.

i had the same problem where my regular headlights went out and everything else was good (high beams, turn signals etc.) check your fuses in the fuse box under the hood top left corner. the fuse box cover has a mini diagram on which fuse goes to which light check to make sure the fuse isnt blown if not then go with the take the headlight out option and switch the bulb. (i learned this the hard way buying expensive *** aftermarket headlights when all that was wrong were the fuses lol)

ok i have the same problem the bulbs are good ive taken them both out and checked them fuses are also good everything works except for the low beams, brights turn signals and parking lights all come on anything else to check before i call honda tomorrow?

u need new bulbs.... low beam filament is out.... but high beam filament is still good..... buy nu bulbs and problem will b gone...

For Passenger side, you might have to remove the battery to get better access.

Your Owner's Manual has detailed instructions on how to remove the bulbs.

so i just got done swaping out the bulbs and that seems to have solvedthe problem
stupid sylvania silverstars! im never spending 40 bucks on those headlights again!

Yea, I had those and they would never last more than a year. I started using the cheaper Sylvania Cool Blue blubs and they last far longer.
