Default ? about the back of the Guage cluster

well i have a 94 Dx coupe and the stock guage cluster doesn't have a tach and i didn't want to get an aftermarket tach cuz they look ridiculous so i got another cluster out of this other civic out at the junkyard and when i went to put it in i don't have the green plug and i'm not sure what the green plug is i'm thinking it may be for ABS but i do'nt know yet i just think it may be that cuz the dx doesn't have ABS the Ex was the only version that came with it and i can't start the car to see if the tach works yet or not cuz we're in the process of a swap but if anyone knows on what the green plug in is for then please feel free to post

I don't know what the green plug is for but when I swapped my CX cluster for a Si cluster I do believe there was a green plug back there.

Stupid question I know, but are you sure it didn't just fall back into the dash and you simply over looked it?

So if you buy a cluster with a tach and change it with what you got the tach should work without any type of wiring needing to be done sorry for hijackin your thread and for noob question but my DX doesnt have a tach and I want one. However, I didnt know if I was gonna have to do any wiring any help would be nice Thanks ahead

No wiring needs to be done. It's a simple plug and play mod.

ABS was an obtion on 92-95's EX's. Not very often do you see one with ABS. Mine didn't and I've only seen one that did that I knew for sure that it did.

Yes it is plug and play for the EX cluster in a DX or CX. In my CX my CC light would light up. Can't remember when exactly. I think it acted as the shiftlite, removing the bulb took care of that.
