I took my car out on the highway for about 30 minutes. I came to a light at the exit and the idle went down to 200rpm and the car shut off. It started right back up and proceeded to do the same thing at the next complete stop. Today I did the following:

* cap and rotor
* fresh plugs
* cleaned IACV
* cleaned throttle body
* adjusted slack in throttle cable
* checked for vacuum leaks

The car has an obd2 to obd1 harness and is running a chipped and tuned p28 with skunk2 IM and TB. This issue only occurs when warm. A couple of things hopefully someone can shed some light on.

1. When I unplug the IACV the car dies immediately
2. I can unplug the TPS, IACV, or MAP sensor and I get NO CEL
3. I jumped the service connector and the CEL comes on solid.

Also forgot to mention that when I pulled the cap it was filled with red/brown dust. I know that is linked to the dizzy bearing going bad. Would this cause idle issues???

You definitely need a new distributor housing. Is there bright white spark at all four plugs?

decent amount of white. would this cause dipping idle at complete stop?
