Default 99-00 Si LCAs, forks, swaybar: How much weight savings or gain compared to EX setup?

I am thinking about upgrading to the 99-00 Civic Si front LCA/fork/swaybar setup on my EX. I understand that the Civic Si has lighter LCAs and bigger swaybars, but was wondering if the overall setup (LCA/fork/swaybar) is heavier or lighter than the Civic EX setup. Does anybody know if the forks on the EX or Si is lighter?

The reason I ask is because I have the SOHC VTEC engine, and the 5 lugs already added enough weight. I do not want to add any more weight.

I think that you are coming at this from the wrong angle. Question you should be asking is if the 26mm front sway will solve any handling issues that you may be having.

yeah, why are you adding this stuff to your car if you are concerned with weight more then with performance, especially when you only have the stock motor.

I would be suprised if the SI LCAs were lighter then stock.

According to this thread:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=383440

the Si LCAs are lighter. The Si LCAs are made of stamped steel while the EX LCAs are made of cast iron. Now I'm just wondering if the forks are lighter and heavier and if the overall Civic Si setup is heavier or lighter.

I'm not approaching things the wrong way and this is not the only factor I'm basing my decision on. It's just information I would like to know before making a final decision.

I seriously doubt it would enough weight to be noticed. You can always pull weight from differenct areas of the car. Especially if you are driving an EX. Wrong platform to worry about weight difference to begin with. Just my .02.
