What are all the differences between a 1999-2000 Civic SI and the 96-00 Civic EX??

Horse power is the major difference.

Holy crap, there is a lot...

1. Engine. SI = B16A2 (160 hp), EX = D16Y8 (127 hp)
2. Interior. SI has better seats/nice gauge cluster with orange needles.
3. Suspension. SI has a rear sway (none on EX) and a larger front sway with different front LCAs. Also more aggresive spring rates.
4. Wheels. SI has aluminum 6 spokes with Honda center cap.
5. Body. SI available in 3(4?) colors - Red, Blue, Black (don't think silver?)
SI also has different front grill/lip as well as DOHC VTEC lettering down side.

That might be everything...

front end is also different comparing it to the 96-98 ex models. notice the design of the 99-00 headlights..cleaner look to it. theres more little things.......

the 99-00 EX is the same body you got the 96-98 mixed up

si comes with painted sideskirts.

put it this way, the thing about the si that makes the most difference is that you got enough vtak to blow yourself to pieces....if you got a heavy foot....

every difference stated is true...
but the biggest difference is your Si will most likely be stolen. your Ex will not

EX w/ ABS has same brake setup as SI.

besides Si's dont have ABS.

atleast mine doesnt, or any other SI ive ever seen.

the red/clear tails is a 99-00 thing. not just Si.
