Default 98 Civic CX Hatch ?

Ok I have a D16Y7 in the car with a P2E ECU. Ive read everywhere that you cant chip a obd2 ecu is this true? If so i would like to get a obd2 to obd1 jumper but what ECU could i use if I can even do that? Any suggestions would be great thanks.

unless ur going to swap in a diff. motor then switchin from obd2 to obd1 would be a waste...you can go with a p28 and chip that for wutever application

since you are still rockin' the D16Y7, if you go OBD1 don't bother with a P28, just go P06.
