97 del sol si/d16y8. check engine light.
So I installed a new radio and drove my car the next day to work... after connecting my battery back on. Everything was fine. The car sat for 2 days, then I started it up and an engine light comes on. I never had an engine light come on before. car starts up fine, drives fine, no idling issues. Nada. Did I do something? I never had this happen to me before o: cat has been changed to brand new one in january as well as o2 sensor.

If you don't have an OBD2 Code Reader, this trick will need only a paperclip/jumper wire:

So I made a video, can anyone decipher this? My coworker said I might need to clean my IACV. So I told him okay, I will, but I don't want to end up doing it, then clearing the code and have it not be the exact problem, although I noticed once I started car, the idle shot up, then went back to normal.

72, 74. Random misfires in cylinders 2 and 4.
When was the last time you replaced your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? Reset the ECU and start the car again - does either code come back?

Since they're random misfire codes, they'll stay stored even if the problem never was really a problem. Sometimes it happens. The reset should be all you need to clear the codes - if the car is driving normally, they shouldn't come back.
