Default 94 Si hatch weight

I weighed my car at the track the other night and was actually pretty suprised at what it was.

Here's what's different from stock...

Spoon SW88 15 inch wheels with 205 50 Azenis
No power steering pump, brackets, etc....using power rack tho
Never had AC
No washer fluid bottle
No cruise control
No sound deadening anywhere besided drivers floor
No spare
No hatch cover
No upper part of back seat
No Honda jack
Little under 1/2 tank
Momo Toyota steering wheel

2110 without me. I thought this was pretty good considering I still have a LOT to remove if I ever feel the need

Dumb post, I know....but I was pretty suprised. My buddies 94 Coupe with GSR Greddy kit weighed in at a little over 2500...bone stock body/interior tho

94 civic si

b series swap
5 lug brakes
22mm rear bar
no rear seats
no pass bag
momo wheel
itr radiator
custom fiberglass fenders and hood

at my last cornerweight about 3 weeks ago, it was 2216 in race trim, with about 1/8 of a tank. this is still with the radio, sunroof, sound deadening etc. the only thing i was allowed to remove was the rear seat as per Street Modified rules.

Emerika, do you still have your SOHC motor?

my 93 Si:
GS-R motor
drag radials on stock 14s
no exhaust, header out
no a/c
no power steering
no cruise
no spare, duh
no carpet
no rear seat
no rear bumper beam
sway bars
15lbs of nitrous

the car weighs 2350 with me in it, so 2200 without me. id like to get my dads buddy to make a carbon fiber sunroof plug since mine has a crack in it anyways. the glass, motors, and rails are probably a good 30lbs i would imagine.

2315 haha

but seriously, some of you guys are pretty light. Everyone talks about the Si hatch being so heavy, but I KNOW I could be below 2000 with 1/2 tank in 20 minutes .

And yes, stock single cam with ported head(.5lbs weight reduction ), Iceman intake and custom exhaust.

My 94 Si w/out me, no backseats, no passenger seat, and 1/4 tank of gas weighed 2430lbs. I guess mine is just heavier than other ones.

The fact is though, that the Si is heavier no matter what you do unless you remove the entire moonroof assy and replace it with a c/f piece or something.

I went from 2289lbs. from my old Si hatch to 2040lbs. in the CX.

"But the CX is gutted" right?

Well the Si was missing the spare tire, A/C, P/S, cruise control, washer tank, and wipers.

The only extra stuff the CX is missing that the Si had are the rear seats, interior plastics (don't weigh much anyways), firewall mat, wiper motor, and radio with speakers.

Hell I'm at 2010lbs. in the Cx since the C/F hood and Spoons were added. I'd have a lot of stuff left to remove/swap in order to get lighter, and this is with a B Series swap and 4-wheel discs as well.

a 11.5lb. battery is all that is keeping me from being under 2000lbs.

I still have the bumper bars and full glass and an airbag steering wheel as well.

Pretty sure a B series is abot 75 lbs. heavier than a D series.
