sunroof
power accessories,
big ole gas tank
lots of sound deadening material
hevy wheels
ac.

definetely i'd say, remove power steering, and ac,
ditch the cargo cover, spare tire, spare tire cover, get some light wheels
that should make a pretty good improvement.

not sure but I believe it has cruise control DITCH THAT TOO!
just ditch anything non essential,
dx/cx/vx, are base, everything manual, and that keeps weight down greatly.

my 94 Si, with 1/2 tank of gas on Spoon wheels with Azenis weighed in at 2110.

Not bad if you ask me, especially seeing that no one would be able to tell I took much out of the car...could lose another 150 if I take out interior and other crap

What size is the gas tank for the DX/VX/CX. I'd imagine them all being 11.9Gal Same as the Si.

I'm going to have to call BS on this...unless the scale is 300lbs off. I too have a 94 Si. With just the drivers seat, no backseat, no spare/tools, no sound deadening, and less than 1/4 tank of gas, it was 2370lbs w/out me.

that's why my civic is a "two-seater"

you'd be surprised how many people don't mind piling up in a coupe

The lower portion of the back seat weighs next to nothing and helps keep road noise down. I kept mine in when I had the hatch mostly empty for that reason.

ditch the spare tire and jack, thats like 20 pounds there, those 20 pounds will make your car .00001 faster in the 1/4, the speed is worth possibly getting stranded from a flat.......

my 93 si weighs in at 2150 with a b18c1 swap and a 4 pont weld in roll bar.

everything gutted, 2 momo buckets and a dash. no panels, carpet, sound deadening, radio/speakers, a/c, p/s, cc, window washer system, headliner, spoon lightweight mirrors, removed rear window wiper and motor, removed rear bumper, removed firewall matting, fender liners, spalshguards, 8lb flywheel, UR lightweight crank pulley.

im sure there is more that i cant think of off hand. this winter the sunroof assembly is coming out and the hood is being replaced with a fiberglass hood skin that weighs 8lbs. the stock steering wheel is being replaced with a lightweight momo. and if i can afford it ill be replacing the rear 3 windows with FALs.

that should get me down to about 2000 or a hair over.

I'm all about comfort. I wouldn't gut my car because I commute everywhere. I have power steering, sun roof, gsr leather interior, 12" sub with box, etc and it makes the whole driving experience more enjoyable.

i dont know about that. 94 si's weigh in at just under 2400. with the added weight of a b18c swap you are just over 2400. do you really think that you took out 400 lbs with just what you mentioned?

either find someone who has cornerweight scales, or go to a dragstrip that has a scale.

No, 100lbs lost is technically .1 off your 1/4... Give or take, of course this is an impossible calculation.

EDIT: Has anyone drove into the truck weight stations? Also, when you go to the dump, they weight your car/truck. These are fairly accurate.
