Hey guys my car has been idling weird lately, I think it's the idle air control but I'm not sure. Sometimes it idles around 1,000rpm, but other times it will either spike and idle in the 2,000-3,000rpm range, or bog down to the 100-200rpm range, or even dies. I'm trying to get more information before I start spending my money in the wrong places.

start with buying a couple cans of carb cleaner and start cleaning tb and other components. and also look for vacuum leaks. cheapest option to start off at.

What ECU?
Is a 5-wire O2 sensor installed?
Does it happen when the engine is cold, or only once warmed up?

Bleed the coolant system of air. If you still have problems, check and clean the IACV.
