Default idle problem

Hi have a 97 Dx coupe, just completed my swap B16A2, everything is good except the idle.

When i start the car it idles 1500-2000 rpm. And it doesn't drop to 900rpm until 5-10 mins later or until the car is warmed up. it's been doing this for about 2 weeks. Any help is appreciated thx.

That's what my car does. Idles at 1600 RPMS when it first starts up cold. Then drops down to 750 +- 50 when its warm, which is like 5 mins in cold weather.

Yeah thats what they do cause its auto choke instead of a 5th injector like VW or Mazdas startup system

It idles higher when the car is cold in order to aid in warming up the engine

yes when the car is cold it idles at 1500 untill it warms up then it is supposed to idle at 750 +-50.
just to be on the safe side check your IACV (idle air control valve) and vacume lines.
