Default 92 prelude seats in eg.

Help. Got some really nice prelude seats. They came from a 92 some say they would fit. Just swap the one eg rail to the lude seat rail that un bolts. Well the bolts for the eg rail don't come close to the holes on the lude. Help. I want comfort. 50 mpg isn't enough. Snagler you had some. Were they 97+. should I just drill the seat frame to accept the eg rail? Help. Thanks.

Oh hey, look at that! A full "what fits what" of Honda seats, as the first Google result! That said, you could try a pan swap, but I make no promises.

heres a solution, swap out the seatpan from your civic seats and attach to the bottom of the prelude seats, that way your rails and safety stay the same. its not to difficult, I put 90-93 integra LS seats in my EG front and back like this. seat pans will be a little different but works fine. I love my new seats, it was fully worth it.

Yeah, a thread full of people who did't bother looking at the year ranges.

Seatpan swap man. seatpan. Its easier than it sounds. If it doesn't bolt up, seatpan swap. if you have questions how to do it lemme know. I did both seats, mines a 93.

Swap pans easier than drill and attach eg rail. Those lude seats are cumphy compared to my 1 million mile eg seats. Swap eg pan to the lude pan.

I did the same thing. You need one Prelude seat rail and one EG rail. On the front right rail of the drivers seat and the front left rail of the passenger seat need a new hole drilled. I used large flat washers with the same bolts.

They look nice dont they(:

Those do look good! I still say my old 89 Prelude seats were the most comfortable I ever had in any car.
Here's the acura seats, matches the EG trim a bit better, but if you are over 190lbs and 5'9"-5-11" they are on the small side. luckily I'm puny.

If I could find a teg in a yard close to me I'ld put those in. 60$ for some really nice lude seats though. They'll tide me over till I get something nicer. And now didn't swap pans actually after disassembling both seats pretty bare a lined up the outside frame and then you need to drill all three holes to bolt the eg rail on. The middle one is close but not quite. I'll need to fab a bracket so the front center bolt can be installed. Right now only 3 bolts holding them to the floor.
