Hi,

So my car is a 92 Civic. When I start my car after driving it for 20 minutes or more, it idles like my car is warming up until I tap the gas, then the idle drops to normal. The timing is correct, it just does that after I've driven my car then stops.

What do you think that is?

Also, I noticed my acceleration has been really sluggish.. Do you think it has to do with that problem?

have you cleaned your IACV?

Also check the slack on your throttle cable and clean the throttle body, it could be getting stuck open.

if is throttle was stuck open even a little bit wouldn't his RPMs be sitting higher then normal?

I haven't cleaned the IACV valve yet, i'll try that tonight. I did check the throttle cable and cleaned the throttle body.
