when im driving my idle stays pretty high like at 2200 but when i come to a complete stop it will go down to 1600, but its not a slow deceleration, the moment my car stops fully, then it drops, after it gets warm, if i turn off the car and turn it back on it will drop to 2000 at a roll and 1200 at a stop, if i get out of the car and push on the throttle wheel towrds closing it, i can get it to go down to 900 at a stop, and it will stay there. hmmm i really need help...

 

any codes? my cars been doing sort of the same but when i come to a stop it keeps the idle at like 1500, have to hold the brake tight or it will roll forward

 

May want to check to see if there is too much tension the throttle cable.
WD-40 the throttle cable spring by they throttle body, maybe its not releasing freely.
Check your TPS
If this doesn't do it then, adjust the throttle valve w/ flat head screw driver.

 

theres an idle screw on the bottom of the throttle cable side of the throttle body, try adjusting that to lower rpms.

prolly easing some tension on throttle cable would help too. good luck, lates.
