Default 3 quick Q's

ok, first off. which head is better, a y8 or a z6, for a mini me swap on my y7??? next, i heard that the y7 tranny is better for boost because of its long gears. is this true or should i get a y8 tranny? last, is there any difference betweent he y7 and y8 tranny in terms of durability or is it negligible?

with the z6 head, you will have some obd issues unless you get a converstion harness with a p28 ecu.

y8 head is better because of the squared combustion chamber and is a straight forward swap with no OBD issues. y7 tranny will be good for boost but if you can get a y8 tranny do it! one is not better than the other as far as longevity goes. Hope this helps.
