Default 2002 civic SI--Any opinions

Anyone has one, how is that I-VTEC engine, any good? Honda claims 160hp but I am sure that it is less for whp. Is it easy to do some mods, what kind of mods are available at this time?
Is this a better option than swaping a B18C1 or C5 into an older hatch?
Thanks

New civic si's
Doing a swap
Why would you want a car that looked like a minivan. By the way we have a whole forum devoted to those gen Civics and RSX's. Try posting there. NOt flamming just making a suggestion.

thanks for the info.
reason I posted here is that I do have a 93 hatch that I am considering getting a swap done on and wanted also some info on the new civic.
I do NOT have the 02 civic.
Thanks

try doing a b-series swap...
cheaper and easier
k-series swaps are way to expensives, motor/trans are costly and so are the custom parts that follows...
but its your car

Thanks.
I am looking at possibly a B18C (type R, JDM complete swap) or H22A.
Which one you'd recommend?
Thanks

try searching the site...
its that icon on the far right of your screen...
and type in b18c5 vs h22a
there's about a thousand threads and replys on that topic...
that should give you some answers to some questions you have....

but to answer your question, it depends on what you're doing with your car...
if you say drag, i would go h22, but if you say auto-x, i say stay n/a and go b18c5

thanks.
I will search again, have not always gotten the info I want.
I plan the car to be a sleeper for the most part.
