The stock engine will be good for 220-240whp, but i'm not exactly sure how much boost it will take from your T25 to get there. One little thing...you should ditch the FMU. Since you have the chipped P28, you wont need anything else.

Care to elaborate?? That sounds like a rather ignorant statement to me...

I dont think i'd go that far, but stock Honda motors are not the weaklings that people think they are. Furthermore, psi really isn't a factor anyway. The engine will crap out at a given power level regardless of the boost needed to get it there (discounting extenuating circumstances such as detonation, etc...)

Re: (Schister66)
Just goin off on what happened to my friends d16. Given that his was a completely different setup... He was running 5psi with no problems... decided to retune it and bumped it up to 8psi... bye bye motor. Fully built and boosted GSR motor now so who cares.

This is what i was hoping to hear. Now i understand why you made the statement you did. The point is, PSI really isn't a factor. There are several people pushing 20+psi and making upwards of 450whp on stock blocks with the right setup and tune. I didnt make any record with my stock GSR, but it did last 2 years at 315whp

God I hope he's kidding....
Unless you like rods going through your block, keep it at 7PSI or below with a GOOD tune...

Re: 1,5 block 1.6 head how much boost HELP (1.5boosted)
Well I'm going to say around 11-13psi for 180whp. My reasoning, the t25 is close to a 2g eclipse 4g63t turbo (stock). In stock form they have 200hp on 10psi. Im thinking If you take the turbo off it will have 140hp like its 420a n/a eclipse brother. So thats roughly 10hp/psi (at the crank im guessing) and i would give it 7hp/psi at the wheel. Set that on top of a mini-me with say 100whp and you would need around 12 to hit 180whp. Thats my thoughts and reasoning. Although that turbo is similar and the 4g block is a 2.0 not a 1.5 .
