u can get a B16A1 for under 1g now a days

smoke the D series and a better platform to build on.

eew, dont use vitara pistons...
that makes the compression so low it's absolutely impossible to see any torque out of it... high compression = torque
if you use any pistons use some forged aftermarket ones build for turbo apps... don't go rockin the low 8's with some shitty suzuki pistons.

Shorter gears = better acceleration. Longer gears are NOT better for turbo. This is a common myth perpetuated by morons who lack a grasp on basic physics.

longer gears are only good if you have insane amounts of power and cant get traction with the shorter gears
