need some help removing..

need some help removing..
i just got my car back from the body shop, and since my car is black, i notice all this compound on my car. its white. its not wax. its that stuff that body shops use to buff after they wet sand. i was wondering how i can get that stuff off. some of the compound wipes off, but some just wont come off. is there some thing i can use to get it off?

If its not wiping off, than its not buffing compound.....
try buffing it off...
actually just use some lacquer thinner it will come right off, not a lot though.
use small amounts.

try washing the car and see if it comes off.
don't use lacquer thinner as it will remove your paint.
if washing doesn't take it off, try using a clay bar to remove the spots.

if the paint is not lacquer based... it will not come off, unless you sit there and rub the **** out of it....
lead sleds from the 50's came with lacquer based paint,
you will hurt nothing, i work at a body shop.

you not even suppose to wash your car the first week when it first came out you sure it wont fwck it up?

yup thats true. you can wash the car at any point. it just takes time to cure complete. but washing your car wont hurt it. im going back in about 60 days to get all the little scratches and little imperfections removed once the car has complete cured

i have never heard waiting 60 days
**** you gotta cut and buff PPG 2002 concept clear within like 3 days or the ***** like buffing concrete. Omni is different on the other hand, you can cut that **** forever...

they used some paint called glosier (sp) its the one with some parot on it. my car is black so he wants me to bring it back b/c you notice everything on black cars. he already cut and buffed my car. he just wants to make my car perfect b/c its black
