are u talken about the emblem? if so what i always did was remove the emblem and get a rag with soap and start rubbing it if u use razor blade i would think u would scratch the paint and if u use a heat gun u could melt the paint so solution is clean cloth and rub it out

as far as getting the emblem off.....u could also use dental floss
the sticker...
jus do ur best and peel away
as far as getting rid of the goo residue...
i used nail polish remover
works wonders!

I work in a Body Shop
To get off stickers best bet is a heat gun. Heat it up but not where its to hot too touch. You really don't need a heat gun but it makes it go faster
For Emblems floss works good but then your left with a foam mess, thats when you bring out the heat gun.
Your finger nail is the best tool you have.
To get off the residue, if any, go get some adhesive remover which can be found cheap at any parts store. Or you could use nail polish. I've never used this ,but it could be used, my advice for it is use sparingly.
