I really wanna get these on my DB7... I'm pretty sure my car's just lowered on eBay sleeves or something (previous owner said the guy he bought it from said they were Spoon coilovers ).

Although, I don't feel they ride to rough.. and not too much bounce. Are F&F Type 1s super stuff or is that adjustable?

They are stiff yeah, 10k/6k and they're height adjustable but not dampening adjustable. Type 2s are height and dampening adjustable. Type 2.5s are height and dampening adjustable but have switft springs.

Well I feel like the fronts weren't stiff enough for me at 10k on my type 1's, so I shot am email over to F&F, asking how stiff I could go. This was my reply:

So 14k fronts here I come

what a nightmare...installed the fronts with no issues...the rear shoulda been a 30min job and ended up taking 2 whole days...

rear end was a bitchhh...first..left side strut bolt broke off...then right side strut bolt seized...decided to go with plan b...remove entire LCA with struts still attached...all but 1 LCA bolt came off...spent a whole day drilling...then finally cut the bolt off at its end and where the bushing is...had to order new LCAs...

*will have pics as soon as i can throw the rear functions on w/the new LCAs...i took her for a drive with just the fronts lowered...rode smooth as hell and no noise or squeaks...

Thats what happens though, you know what I did? I took my car to a shop and had them use an impact wrench to remove the lcas and put in my other ones. Then the next weekend I installed my coilovers and didn't have to deal with a stuck lca bolt.

I had him remove the OEM LCAs and install the Blox LCAs with fresh bolts. I paid like $43 for the new bolts and I paid him $40 to put it in. $20 per side. Much rather do that then deal with a ****ed up bolt.
