thats why im going with the koni/gc set up.
i originally wanted the function and forms, but based on what people were saying, and that pic posted above they arent gonna cut it.

Yo waddup baby?! umm... yeah that car looks pretty dope and along the lines of where i want the sol to be. I'm REALLY on the fence here. I need more LOW pictures.
I have been doing my research and I currently have Tein S.techs on blown stock shocks on my EH3 and its time for me to fix/upgrade. I ordered Type 1s on Friday and should have them next week.
Here are some facts about them to clear up any confusion for someone who is doing their homework on these.
-Type 1s and 2s go equally as low.
-For EGs spring rates are 10k/6k for the Type 1s and 12k/8k for Type 2s.
-They go pretty low and tuck tire and even lower if you mess with the preload however that causes ride quality to worsen and should not be messed with.
-Build quality is the SAME for Type1 compared to the Type 2.
-These are made for daily driving with the occasional track day and so they handle great and feel awesome.
For me I was looking for a few things:
-Full coilover setup. No coilover sleeves, or spring/shock combo.
-Not $1,000, around $600 was my budget.
-Height adjustable.
-Good ride for the street, something stiffer than stock but not too hard.
I haven't gotten them but when I get my car back from paint I should get these in just in time. They seem to be perfectly what I'm looking for.

Lol. Ure gonna love the Coilovers dude, I have a couple friends with the type 1s and they love them. I've had my version 1 type 2s for over 2 years and it was most definitely my best investment for the car.
Had these installed on my friends Integra. We didn't mess with the pre-load at all, we just maxed out the front and left a couple of inches in the back. The rear is tucking nicely but the front barely tucks. Anybody else have this problem? =/
EGs tuck tire, this shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully someone can chime in but I dont think that will apply to us.
im sure i can almost tuck wheel on my ej6
and im on 55 profile tire. too low for me though. is weird how ya cant tuck.
cut a little of the fork mount up top,.

i know its not the best picture to tell but, my fronts and rears are tucking, maxed out with proper preload.

and i cant really go much further without actually having the engine sitting on the ground

That's the same with me on the Type 1's. My front is maxed out and I'm tucking like 1/2-1inch of tire, however in the back I'm tucking a good 1 1/2 inch and I have probably another inch to go on it. But it doesn't really bother me, I like the stance I have now and I definitley don't want to mess with the preload.

its about time! lol
