Transmission slip 2nd gear after ball and joint accident that caused axel to break.
I recently had an accident when my front driver side lower ball and joint broke off and caused my tire to bend off. I was on park and went on reverse at about 2 mph and went i felt the wheel making a clunk like if it was gonna come off i quickly stopped. The damage was the front driver axel broke off and a piece stood left on the transmission. I did the work and replaced the ball and joint and the axel and due to my slack of work tge axel came off as i was driving. I quickly stopped , inspected the issue and the results was that the axel slipped off the tranny. No damage , just a little transmi#ion oil on the ground. I fixed the problem and a couple of miles later the automatic transmission feels like when it goes to 2nd gear it tends to slip.... WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ????? DID THE SITUATION MESSED WITH THE GEARS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION????

Verify the axle is fully seated.
Verify the transmission is full of fluid. Place the trans in every gear for a few moments, then back into park and recheck fluid level.
