not a racecar, doesn't run 10's, isnt a K,B or an H and only runs 14.7's consistently, but is the most fun ive had owning a car. local cars are about 75% civics, 15% integras and about 95% of each are 16-15.5 sec cars so i have the fun of alot of shocked faces stoplight to stoplight, lol.

I had a similar setup in my Accord a few years back. It wasn't ideal, but it worked well enough and made decent power for a stock F23 short block and F23 head. I'm sure your setup will meet your goals. Looking forward to an update!

  • F23A1 Engine, stock bottom end with ~42k miles
  • Mild DIY port work on the head
  • Milled head (.030", calculates to ~9.9-10.0cr)
  • Bisimoto Level 2 Cam
  • Bisimoto Pro Valve Springs
  • Bisimoto Pro Retainers
  • H23 Intake Manifold with custom Adapter Plate
  • AEM Cam Gear with bolt upgrade
  • P61 ECU (92-93 GSR) chipped and tuned with eCtune
  • AEM CAI (hacked up)
  • eBay 4-2-1 header with 2.5" collector mod
  • 2.5" Mandrel bent exhaust
  • Vibrant Flat Black muffler
  • Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator
  • 12lb Lightened OE Flywheel
  • LSD Motorsports 6-Puck Clutch
  • Custom geared M2S4 5-speed transmission
  • Energy Suspension Poly motor mount inserts
  • ARP Head studs

Awesome! Really looking forward to see how you progress over what you currently have. How come you didn't stick with that modified Vibrant header?(still have it?)

If you're willing to donate me that VTEC head, I'll take it.

If you want it its for sale with the intake manifold. $150 plus shipping. It's a good cylinder head. It's off now, I took it to the machine shop and had it pressure tested. The engine only had 24k miles.

Curious, how much did that 4-1 manifold cost you? They're stupid expensive, always interesting to see someone actually running one. The honestly look sweet, somewhat like a turbo ram horn.

You will have to fabricate it yourself, have someone fabricate one for you or pay the $800+ for the overrated F22 market brand. I'll be making my own 304SS 4-1 w/a Burns Stainless merge collector and megaphone for under $600. That's materials and consumables (welding filler and gas)

If you have the skills and the knowledge its definitly cheaper to build one. I got a really good deal on my bisimoto is why I got it. <$600 kind of good deal.

That's a Bisimoto header. Was it one of his mild steal prototypes that go up on sale every now and then?

I know its a Bisi header, there is some kid trying to sell one for online price ($1000) on CL right now. They are crazy cool looking for an NA exhaust component.

Well I got it running and the afr's adjusted. Its safe to drive but still needs some tuning to perfect the ignition maps and maybe dial the cam in a bit better.

Street tune. I've got a LM-1 connected to my S300. Cruising is 14.5, WOT is 12.

Congrats! Looks like you easily met your goal and then some. Did you have the opportunity to make some cam adjustments on the dyno? I'm curious why the Bisi level 2 cam regrinds don't carry torque higher than they do. What are the future plans for this?

Nice numbers!

That tq drop @ 5000rpm is quite surprising. None the less the numbers are good!
