engine rebuild upgrades
i am planing on rebuilding my engine (F22A6) this summer and i am thinking of buying RE forged pistons and rods to prepare it for turboing is there anything else besides the normal parts that i might want to buy to allow me to run high boost. motor wise i mean i can upgrade fuel and ignition latter i just want engine parts sense i will already have it apart

Re: engine rebuild upgrades (ChaosUnbound)
Don't forget to include things like bearings, seals and machine work into your budget...
new valves, valve job, new or upgraded valve springs, guides... balance the rotating assembly...
These are just common rebuilding things... not really turbo specific...

if you wanna run high psi on an F you would be well advise to do a minimal sleeve at the very least. Decking is also a real good idea and cheap too

Re: engine rebuild upgrades (ForceThis!)
well im not looking to make mad boost just something larger then what i can with stock and have in reliable i have to make 4 to 8 hour drives most weakened i was thinking of sleeving the block but sense i need my car everyday for work and school i cant just take the block out and send it off i would have to buy another block and sleeve it. how much do you think the stock block could hold without the sleeves
