alot its gonna be cheaper to get a low milage motor and boost it. d series motors are cheap. just buy a jdm d15b if your stuck on a d series about $300 give or take.

Re: rebuilding my engine need help (e jay one)
if you are gunna rebuild for boost i'd say get some new bearings for the bottom end, some forged rods, some forged low compression pistons and new rings, hone the cylinder walls, new oil and water pumps, new valve seals for the head, don't waste your money on building the head up if you plan on boostin'. And the obvious, little things like new gasket set, resurface the head so its flat, might as well get some arp head studs too. If you do all of the work yourself (other than the machine work...ie hot tank, resurfacing, honing) it will save you a lot of money. But i would say for parts, you could do it for $1200-1500. And that would be building a 15+psi ready block. But also allow for 1/3 of your budget for tuning, tuning is key to making max power, driveability, and longevity.
I mean, why spend all of that money on rebuilding a block and putting together a turbo kit only to run it real lean and blow it up or crazy rich and wash out the rings?

well i can buy this long block for 250..JDM SOHC ZC HONDA CIVIC 1.6L VTEC MOTOR
and i could just swap my d16z6 for this..its got 35k on it..would this work out for me better..and they say its just the longblock..so what else would i need to complete the swap?
