Breaks make grinding sound if not driven in a day 02 ACCORD
Hey guys!
So, this may be just a real stupid questions. When I leave for work in the morning and afternoon (7am, 7pm) when I start my car to leave and back out of my parking spot I hear my breaks grinding as I back up. But not as I drive around. Its worse if I haven’t driven my car in a couple days, when I leave in the AM. But again, not hearing it as I drive around and stop at lights and whatnot.

Verify your pads still have material on them, most notably, the rears.
I had a horrid groan/moan on the '97 after first getting it. I knew it needed pads soon, but the noise only happened when backing up.
When I pulled the old pads off(still material on them) the inner pads with the warning tangs were on the wrong sides. So rather than giving me a proper squeal/screech when stopping normally, they would only groan when backing up.
