2008 Accord Scraping Noise (Video)
I have a 2008 Honda Accord and I'm getting this intermittent metal scraping sound from one of the wheels (I think) when I drive. Usually there is no problem until I turn a corner or go over a slight bump then scraping sound may last for up to a minute then go away for awhile.
Here is a video I made the other night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdxKo...ature=youtu.be
If anyone knows what it could be or has had the same problem, advice would be much appreciated.

I have a similar issue...
94,000 miles and thought the brakes were worn so I bought new ones. Found that the old ones were no more than about 50% worn, but changed them anyway. The noise was still there. So I replaced the rotors too, all four, so now I have completely changed out the pads and rotors on all four, lubed up the travels, added some anti squeak to the back of the pads... and the squeak, grind is still there when I drive; and when I brake normally.
Braking hard, the noise does not exist, and if I try to break them in by driving and braking hard a number of times then the noise goes away for a while but will inevitably return.
Im starting to lose my mind trying to figure this one out. Help me please.

I remember an member a while back had a scraping sound, and it was the clip that goes between the pad end, and the caliper, that was rubbing on the edge of the rotor. Make sure the clips aren't touching the rotor as it turns.

My car does this, I bent the shields back a lil, and it went away for a long time. Did the same thing again, and it went away but not for as long.

I have the same sound all this time I thought it was my tie rod end touching the rim. I Even checked it and everything. And there was nothing touching when I turned the wheel to the right. guess I should check to see if its a brake clip touching the rotor.

Actually sounds like the brake shims that rest on the caliper bracket. If you install them you need to make sure they're centered in the bracket and they're secure. If there is any movement in them, when you apply and release the brakes, they will slide in the caliper bracket and contact the rotor/move away from the rotor, causing a noise like a brake wear indicator.
