Default 6th gen CAI install ???

alright, i got my CAI today, and i know exactly what i have to do... but i have one problem, im not exactly sure what 2 parts are for.



its kinda hard to see but ive circled it in red, im guessing they are for mounting the intake, but i just dont know so im asking you all for help.

they're for holding the intake in place. But you really don't need them. Toss em

You dont need them for installation.

ok, so one more question... that blue tube, arent i supposed to use that to attach the new intake to the breather hose?

the picture isn't up right now, but in the kit i got, there was two blue hoses. One was to be cut and to be use around the hole cut for the CAI. The other is for the breather from the valve cover.

the pic isn't working, but if i remember correctly it should come with everything you need. When i installed mine, the blue hose which is supposed to go from the valve cover to the intake pipe, the hose wall was too flimsy, so i had to go to the auto parts store and get some fuel line hose cut. My year (92) you also had to cap one of the vaccume lines and put filter foam in another. you may want to do a search and see if you need to do the same for your year. Good luck.

well i saw something that said to replace the entire hose.
