this is that 7:30am overcast shade of bg33p lol.. ignore ugly highbeams.

do all gsr's come with gold calipers? or did the previous owner paint them? mine came this way, i'm not a caliper painter myself lol..

GSR's never came with gold calipers stock.

P.S: I'm still looking for a 98-01 BG-33P (teal) front bumper, anyone have one?

well......all integras and almost all hondas technically did, but the color very quickly changes to that kind of dark dirty silver

so my calipers are either pretty new or repainted huh?

if someone painted mine they did a damn good job.. there is like no overspray on anything, not even the unpainted parts of the caliper..

They came silver, but never gold.

And if I'm wrong, I'd liked to be proven wrong.

you're welcome to buy a new one. Every integra and 89-04 civic I've ever seen has had the bronzish/gold ones, but like I said they quickly fade to a kind of oxidized silver.

Thats how NISSIN coats their calipers

lol it's crazy, i've been wondering that for awhile cause i seen a few with gold calipers and a few without gold, then someone told me type r's had gold calipers... them coming in gold and fading away sounds like a good explanation to me.

yup, i have installed quite a few new calipers when i worked at honda, and they were all gold. but the brake dust and heat made them look sileverish that same week.

btw just cruize any new car dealer, look at the back calipers, those don't change color that fast.

nice pick up! it looks exactley like mine did except the spoiler. i sure don't miss those hubcaps tho! lol.

about the calipers, they do come gold when they are new, but quickley turn into a silver oxidized crappy finish. suprizingly, when i got my 4x114.3 conversion, the calipers were still gold but kinda dirty and came with brand new brake pads. but i hit them with a coat of gold paint, i have to do them again tho.

what's up with everyone? any new parts? post up yO
