I've been reading lots of negative things about polyurethane bushings in general for street cars/daily drivers in the suspension forum. People have reported them actually going to crap in just a couple of years. I saw pics of some that a guy removed from his ITR and they looked HORRIBLE, and they were a name brand like Energy Suspension or Prothane.
I think the general consensus is that OEM rubber or some other type of hard rubber bushing is best for street cars.

My Energy Suspension front swaybar bushings cracked after a few years as well. Although they are in better shape than my old OEM bushings when they were removed. The ES shifter bushings are still in great shape.
It would probably pay off to use the expensive Mugen bushings in the end. If they last considerably longer than OEM or polyurethane, then they're worth it. I doubt they'll last forever though.
All bushings will wear out eventually...

For a street car OEM/Mugen bushings (they're nearly identical) or some other type of rubber based bushing is what you really want. They're plenty stiff and will last far longer than any polyurithane or spherical bearing. Again I'm just talking for overall street use.

I dont' know if stock bushings would fit in the megans. You could always get some polyurithane and keep a colse eye on them or try to find a compnay that makes a rubber bushing for that application.

i was actually expecting to get the exmag with the black piping and canister, but i really like the way the mufflers looks with the polished/metal look
thanks for the comments
