I think he's referring to the ridiculous "dumped" ricer look. Correct me if I'm wrong. I ment why was it mechanicaly wrong. I dont have an lower control arm or anything of that matter so I dont know... yet.
But not everyone needs to race their car. Mines a daily driver, I wouldnt take it to a track unless I had another car as a daily, and say, it was manual haha.

It defeats the whole purpose when you can only travel in a straight line, on a flat paved road with no undulations or potholes.

i think i totally agree with AlphaQup and Eric95LS....
The car is nice indeed...but i cant stand looking at a car from the rear and seeing the LCA's facing up like that...it just doesnt make sence....and not to mention im sure you guys like buying tires....cuz im sure you buy them all the time with camber like that...the look of major negative camber just looks bad...
but thats me...

have you sat in them? I didn't find the RSX seats especially comfortable. Plus, leather sucks. They may also sit really high without a fair amount of work. good deal though.
guys...i kinda came across a revelation last night. not just last night...but i've been leadin' up to it for a while. honda's aren't worth the money people put into them. let's face it...there are plenty of other cars that you could put less money into that will go much faster or handle better. for one, integra's are front wheel drive. they dont hook up in a straight line and aren't the best layout for handling. that point is not debateable(sp?). the other thing is that it cost a ridiculous amount of money to make a honda fast. it just doesn't seem worth it anymore. i'd rather save my bones for somethin else...maybe a better car someday.
oh yeah, my revelation. i'm not buying any go-fast parts for my car. no more suspension mods, maybe though because my car rides too damn low. it gets annoying after a while. i think my goal is to make my car look decent and get good gas mileage. thats it. it's not worth the money. i just want to fix the rust...

Please do tell. My friend has been saying, what DA6righthand just mentioned, to me for months. He says he loves his teg, but just doesn't want to put money into it. I'm really curious about your opinion.
I view it as, your gonna put your money somewhere useless no matter what you do. Unless you invest in like stock, something thatll grow, or just save your money. But thats bad for the economy. People put hundereds into houses, bikes, clothes, musical instruments, traveling, everyone has a hobby, and the point of a hobby is to close the circuit of the cash flow. From your employer to your pocket to the registers of car detaling companies everywhere.
Say you buy another car, your just gonna put money into that, and for the most part other makes cost a lot more to play with, hondas are where its cheapest.
With that intime, super street did a countdown of the top tuner cars in America. The teg got number one for being easier to work on then most, larger selection of parts, and a bigger following and past. Your not gonna get that anywhere else so if your looking to just not have a HONDA then in my eyes and many eyes of people in the buisness for years eye's theyre gonna see anything else has a bigger investment.
But like I said, even if you want to get away from cars in general, the whole concept seems like the same arguement when ANYONE says something about me wanting to mod cars. "Whats the point its a car?" Its not WHAT you work on, its how you feel when your working on whatever THAT is. When you get married your wife will throw all her money into the house and how it looks. Same deal with a car, its just about what you love man. if you love cars then go ahead and love them, if you can afford it why second guess something that brings you joy.
Look at it this way, you could be one of those people with a lame job and a lame girlfriend with no hobby spending all their cash on alcohol and their pointless girlfriend. (I say pointless cause if she costs money then your better off with a Honda)

dude you are so wrong there....what is a "ridiculous" amount of money??? i consider 10g's alot of money...but thats me...so ive spent just under $4k in my turbo setup including tunning and all...and i can honestly tell you that there are few cars on the road from day to day that can keep up with me....C6 corvette will lose by 5+ cars from 60-120....BMW M5/M6 will lose to about the same..lets not even talk about EVO's and STI's and M3's they are just jokes.....now those cars cost between $30-80K...and they cant keep up with a $7k integra?? come on now...
and not to mention i think the 97 ITR was considered the best FWD handeling car in the world at one point...infact i still think it is.... Erick95LS would probably know more on that subject than me...not to mention that it is considered a collectors car....
Epic is right about the top 10 tuner cars thing...the Integra beat the Supra, Civic, 350Z all of those cars....that should tell you something right there...
i think the platform of the integra is one of the best for dragracing...the longer wheel base helps off the line and at high speeds vs like an EG or CRX...they also comes with the best motor......
an integra with the right suspension can out corner EVO's and STI's all day long...seen it many times....so can a civic too but i think you need to do less to an integra...
Im no expert but thats what i think...
