hehe Yeah I checked all them out last night I saw your bulletin about your flickr account. I was sooo tempted to post them all then youd waltz in here and be like "WTF!"
it looks sooooo sick I love the visors. And either i never noticed before or you just never took pics with your fogs on but I LOVE those amber fogs. Im not a huge fan of honda emblems either, but I read on flickr your tail lights are also edm and I have to say thats classy as fck. I really like it. Second pic ftw!

all these nice shots makes me wish i coulda bought my better camera this weekend ... had to buy a new b18c head since I bent some valves when my timing belt broke ... grrrrr ... but anyway, good job fellas! Keep em coming! They all look great!

haha, yeah I finished editing them last night, uploaded them and then went to bed at 12:40. Thanks for the compliments. And yeah, I swapped out the oem bulbs in the fogs for piaa 2500k fog bulbs and the tails are edm/ukdm, so I thought naturally the honda badges would work with it.

Thanks and yes, still the 50mm. Whenever this stimulus check comes in (I'm like one of the last ones apparently) then I'll buy a new lens. I'm thinking about the Tamron f/2.8 28-75mm

 

I tired using that pic flex. I know you got something less fish eye and better color.

And flexin, I just wanted a pic of the front lip from a side view to photoshop. If you dont have one no big, Im sure youll think about it when you take pics next.

grrrrr, and i just noticed a ton of water build up in my driver side headlights. LAME. Now I gotta really figure out hwo to get my bumper off. The previous owners stripped 2 screws under the hood to get the bumper off. I hate previous owners. If i ever see that kid he's gonna hear a thing or two.

Here's two shots my buddy took of my car when I was heading to Ocean City:

 

So whats the point of cover yor whole bumper with tape, vs covering just the headlights vs covering only the lip? I assume its for the track?

And yeah, ive gone through many pages, but once I started at like 70, again at 50, and in random spots So i dunno where to start anymore haha.

 

The purpose of the tape is provent rock chips and other debris from hurting the bumper. Also keeps it clean from bugs and other junk you hit on a 3 hour high way drive. I cannot cover up the headlights or turn signals due to that it would be illegal. Technically, I could cover the headlights since I drove during the day and I could have covered the fogs, but I opted not to. That was actually the first time I've cover my bumper in blue tape.

 

Oh. normally I see the blue tape in all the meet and expo pics. I dunno if id care to cover the front of my car like that. But then again if someone told me I needed to make a 3 hour freeway drive Id flip them off haha.

yeah, they use the tape for long drives so it doesn't ruin the paint on the bumper. Well, it was my choice to do it lol, and my choice to drive the the beach.

 

how did it turn out? good? any left over gooey stuff from the tapes???these are just regular painting tapes right? I finally got my car running after 4 months of being put to sleep. I will have to re do my head gasket and oil pan gasket right now. and dyno soon as its done. Runs great and big difference in power.......

 

^yea does it leave any glue from the tape on it? i have a 4-5hr drive soon to ottawa for a car show/see this girl soon, so i'm going to blue tape up my front end...i hope it doesn't pull the paint off?

 

I hate to say it, but maybe THATS why people get those nose cuts. I hate how they look, but Im sure throwing on a leather guard is better then putting tape on your car, then peeling it off later. But man would I love peoples reactions from the tape. Im already loving the reaction from my rims. People with double duece chrome bling bling dont understand.

So I was planning on painting my extended lugs. I got them blue, wanting an interesting color before I got around to paint em. I wasnt going to try and strip the blue, I was going to just maybe sand them SLIGHTLY hit them with a few coats, maybe 3, then another 2 clear coat. Think that would work? I didnt want to get the heat treated stuff cause they dont have the right colors but I did notice how hot the lugs got after 100 miles on the freeway.

 

I was in 90 degree heat driving down, and left the tape on for 2-3 days afterwards in the heat... peeled it off and nothing was left behind. Before I applied the tape, I washed and waxed her. When I peeled the tape off, the paint was smooth as can be, like nothing happened, but I wouldn't put it on unless you washed and waxed the paint.

Or you could always buy the OEM leather bra, like Epic said. But do not use them 24/7. I heard and read that dirt can get behind the leather and scratch your paint and leave fade lines from the sun. A OEM leather bra should only be used temporarly, not constant.

For the lugs, you don't need to use heat resistant paint. Just use regular spray paint.

 

OMG I love the drop on that teg. Thats about how low I want to go. Looks awsome! Minus the mud flaps though.
