Good reason to get a race seat, and mount it super low. It would make a bunch more room for you in a CRX. My friend has custom brackets on his, and it's like your sitting on the floor. It feels a lot better, plus more roomy, and lower cog.

I'm 6 feet tall with long sexy legs. I have room behind my bucket and the bar...so you'll fit.

CWB- yes, I have extended studs

NA- ha! Thanks.

How about with a stock seat? Current stipend funds don't allow for ballerness at this current junction.

You'll be fine with a stock seat as well. Your passenger will not be able to scoot all the way back.

Egbb4 - are those 16s?

The sedan is officially under construction again.

Not in any big hurry this time around. Need to get the motor on the ground and start working on the harness, then it's off to the machine shop to freshen up the bottom end. Motor back in, Hondata, and a tune, then she'll be back to stomping pavement again.

My uncle had a red Celica of the same body style when I was a kid. It was the car that got me in to imports and he still talks about it today and wishes he never would have let the insurance company keep it after his wreck....

I have been tempted a few times by them, used to prefer the hatch, but I dont know anymore. Saw a mint green one for sale bone stock last year and
was trying to figure out how I could get my wife to let me have it. Also parts came into question, Im sure expensive and very hard to find. So in the end I stuck with the hondas

I don't think parts are too horrible to find since the engine is based off of a basic Toyota pickup engine and the suspension is very basic. It's no Honda though, so I bet it would be a little harder than we are used to.

My uncle's looked like this but his had a little luggage rack on the trunk and some 15" d-slots-

D-Slots-

Dont hate me C-DUB! hahaha (last time before Honda Day!) Im hoping to attend both Honda Days this year and wekfest LA... and now maybe FF battle, not sure how spectating works for that though. Instead of a rental and return flight, Im thinking of cancelling my return flight buy a old EF and make it a roadtrip home (if I ever return) maybe stop and see guys like TK and Adam in the Chi on the way home. I may be dreaming here.. Not sure I want to take that much time off and be away from the car now that shes coming together slowly.

I promise Im gonna drop some pictures in here soon, OCD in me makes me edit them and not just post a cell pic.

Cummins swap? Suhweet!

I don't have many updates either. CRX is in pieces, coupe just sits. I've been riding a lot lately. Selling all the JDM front end pieces and J's bumper to buy a new road bike.

Adam, you've been helping with mine... that's good enough.

Cummins swap in his Ford. Should be fun. I can't wait to help with that one.

Adam-

What about getting the 6.7 out of a new Ford? More Powa, but I wonder it's been done yet.

i'm shooting for 30 MPG. dont care about power at all.

and selling my 6.0 has paid for the swap so far...and i havent sold the trans/computer/turbo (converting to manual trans)

cant. wait.

Sounds like a plan! A good high school buddy of mine just picked up a 2001 Dodge with only 38,000 miles on it!!! It has the hi-po cummins from that year, 5-speed manual, 8ft. bed, 4x4. Freaking perfect condition and such a great find.

So im not planning On tracking my hatch as much.

Ive got gutty, and our lemons car for that ....and they are fun.

Would you put my koni revalves on gutty, and soften my car for syreet use, or just leave it kinda wild, etc....so its always "ready"
