good **** indeed. i think it helps that all 10 of us that post on a regular bases are some what mature lol.
I don't really post, just lurk but man I just wanna say that no one posting immature comments really restored some of my faith in honda-tech. props to everyone.
I'm not sure on the age group around here (26 myself), but 10 years ago, the EF was the chassis that a 16 year old could pick up for a relatively decent price and turn into something special. For the 16 year old crowd out now, they can do the same with an EK or even an EM. And why would they want a car that's older than them?!?!?
These are the cars that WE came up loving, hence the maturity difference between us and the "others".
Probably just talking out of my @$$, but what the hell
Anyone concur?

I'm 25 and I've had 5 EFs. I think with there being fewer and fewer of them on the road I love mine more and more. In my area you rarely see modified EFs, and if there are any, they are always primered on steelies with fart can mufflers. I like that the longer I own it the more unique it will become, especially with it being a sedan.
I was bummed about mine starting as an automatic, but it was too clean to pass up. I had wanted a white EF sedan for a long time so when I saw it at that lot it was as if the coulds opened up, rays of sunshine beamed down and angels sang. It was a glorious occasion. Oh, then I ran out of gas on the way home.
Haha, no. It's one of those tiny dealerships in a bad part of town. The guy that runs it is a very honest Lebonese gentlemen that I've actually bought three cars from, but he forgot to fill-r-up that day, I guess. He buys everything from auction and somehow always manages to get his hands on low mileage, clean Hondas. I bought my wife an '84 Accord from him a couple years earlier that only had 122k miles on it.
Just cable. I guess technically it was free because I bought that '89 hatch to part out and I took all of the 5 speed stuff out of it. I watched craigslist like a hawk for about three months before I found a 5 speed EF cheap enough to buy. I took out what I needed for the conversion and then sold the rest. It more than paid for itself. I'd have to say the conversion isn't that hard, mostly because I tore it down to nothing in order to swap the motor, paint the bay and all that. This lays out the conversion pretty well.
