dude, $77 or $79 each + shipping. you know you want em.

I forgot what I had paid, it was less than $80 though and around $350 shipped to my dealership for all 4. tirerack has a deal right now on tires too. i paid $99 each for 205/50-15 potenza RE-11s and with the purchase of 4 you get a $100 rebate. i'm sticking to the low budget of this build and its turning out great so far.

I'm trying to focus and fund the swap right now. If I have to drive the DPFI with the slipping AT much longer you all may hear about me on the news after I intentionally flip it off a bridge.

I would like to have those tires, too. I was going for cheap right at Christmas so I bought the $53 Kuhmos. If I keep selling parts at this crazy pace I should have no problem having it where I want it by IA.

How does $85 shipped sound for a Z6 harness? That is the price someone that PMd me is asking. $75 locally, but I have no idea what they are worth.

the Intercooler doesnt get to hot, i keep the boost running off the wastegate around track (car still runs 11.7's@118 off wastegate), and the oil temp is the big battle. i'm going back to a real oil cooler again...Mocal thermostatic sandwich plate, and like blu, a monster B&M supercooler. my brother has had good luck with that cooler on his maxima and his wife's del-sol, so i'm using one.

D15B swap going to OBD1 and MPFI. Ryan needs me to send him my spare DPFI harness and a Z6 harness to build me a custom one.

Put it there and make an air dam from the hole toward the cooler

You mean like air ducting?

That seems like a common place.

Yea u could use air ducting or use some plastic or aluminum to fab up a dam to direct air flow through the cooler...I had a buddy use air ducting before. Worked pretty well

nope never touched them. In fact I think the TPS and throttle body I have are fairly new. I used them from my 00 R swap I had.
All the issues occurred just recently when the car stopped starting.

Thats my only experience with what your stating. Do you think your timing belt might have jumped a tooth?

Id say with the vc off, set cyl 1 to tdc. Use something like a bbq skewer in the psark plug hole and just turn it over ill its at the top of its stroke. Once the bottom end is at tdc, check the cams markings. Im sure you knew how to do this, but figured id just explain how/what id check first.

You think there's much need for a thermostat controlled oil cooler in your situation? I dont even see the need for one on my application and im not turbocharged (I run an oil temp gauge, but I am in non freezing so cal). In a turbocharged application the oil will get to operating temp fairly fast. I used a B&M for a while way back in the day and that unit did not impress me. Overall construction was cheezy imo, so I switched to a Setrab cooler. Setrab is a nice unit..they're available in a wide variety of sizes/rows, but will probably cost you a tid bit more. They also come with male AN fittings to boot, which is a nice touch.

the main reason i will use the mocal again is i DONT want all the oil in the engine going through the cooler. the pressure drop and potential for problems is too.

i like the B&M i have here, even after comparing it to the earl's and mocal i have here too.

Gotcha. From my experience, the pressure drop is negligible. I run an oil psi gauge as well.

edit: forgot to add that any measurable pressure drop would most definitely depend on which cooler you use, size of lines, which filter, type of AN fittings etc etc.

the only thing i know at the moment is that -10 lines are ideal and what brand oil cooler i'm going with. as far as the best size, none too sure, i'm new to all this so i'm still researching.
