Has anyone ever shipped out a jdm front?? If so who do you use to ship it, and how much does it cost?

Yes they do! It was a Saturday night race under the lights so I think it was better than a Sunday afternoon race. The force of the cars flying by at around 150mph maybe 5-10feet away from you is insane. rubber kicking up out of the track at you. The parking lot tailgating before and after the race with the locals added to the whole experience.

Time to get back to the crx though..
looking to buy another one if anyone sees anything on the east coast, let me know.

just letting you guys know, you might not want to "rebuild" the boots on an axle that already is clunking/popping. new grease wont really help that in the long run.

you need to overbore the *****/cage setup, etc.

i can get CNC overbore axles, using OEM cores for about 55 bucks. best axles i've ever used. local shop does them , all the dealerships sell them as their "rebuilt" because of the quality of his process and the OEM cores.

I had a whole front end including the hood shipped to me. FedEx trashed an SiR hood two different times and the seller ended up using a private shipping company. It was a nightmare.

When I sold the front end I shipped it without the hood (local guy bought the hood, thank God). FedEx is usually the cheapest. My advise is to package it well and buy insurance.

x2. I only rebuild axles that have torn and do so right away (you really can't ignore all that lithium grease in your engine bay )

Finally got my irratic idle situation figured out.

#1 new IAVC...did nothing.
#2 checked vac lines for leaks...all good.
#3 Messed with the TPS...did nothing.
#4 using a stethoscope with the end off found a leak coming from the bottom side of the intake mani. One new intake mani gasket later and its running like a champ again.

what a FAWKING relief.

What gasket did you use?? I used a feltpro (autozone) one when I first did the swap.. That thing was junk! So I replaced it with a honda one.

I hate OEM gaskets. At least the original ones. They become a permanant part of the head when you have to change them the first time.

Both of them are hot as hell, but the one with light brown hair is killing me!

Do you guys know where I can get some clear Stanley corner lights for my 91 crx? Clear bumper lights also would be great!
