I went to buy a helicoil set, but they only had them in standard, so I bought two 1/4" standard bolts and taped that little aluminum bastard. No more sunroof rattle and I can open it again!

i'm thinking my crx will hit ebay sometime in the near future. i can't decide to demod it some, i.e. remove the hid german light setup, remove the big brakes and the volks and the 5zigen steering wheel.

I have lofty dreams...next car maybe an S4. Just time for something a lil bigger.

Greetings from Japan everyone! I am now in Yokosuka which is 2 hours south of Tokyo. That was a long flight! Sitting coach sucks! Anyway I might be able to upload some pics later but if not I wil when I get home in 10 days. So far the only cool car I saw was an S2000 with a nice exhaust and dropped on some nice wheels (not sure what they were). Most of the cars here are simliar to a Fit. Surprisingly there are more older cars than I expected. Looking out the window I can see a 90-91 prelude in pretty good shape. On the train I spotted a few 240's and some older toyotas.

Oh yeah, everything is soooo clean. No trash on the streets, no graffiti, the train stations and trains are immaculate. The express train we took from Narita airport was so smooth. My first impressions are that the Japanese take alot of pride in everything they do.

Depressed? Haha, not the least. I just don't want to give up the crx, but I don't think I want to wrench for a while.

You should keep it. Ask anybody on here who sold their old car. Most of them regret it. Besides, if it works and runs, you shouldn't have to wrench on it that much.

I don't miss my CRX, but that's because it was raped by the previous owner. That car taught me to never buy anyone elses work.

Speaking of other peoples work. I began de-ricing the DA I bought as a daily.
This is the crap I pulled out of it this weekend, along with replacing the gay taillights with oem ones.

All those rags were stuffed behind the rear plastics around the shock towers. Ghetto dynamat I guess. That white thing in the lower left was a AA battery powered light that was ghetto rigged under the dash. Lol. At least it's pretty much all stock now, except for the clear corners in the front.

This is the only one I have. You can kinda see the gay tail lights. I sanded down the rust on the bottom of the drivers door and fixed a few other minor surface rust spots. I primered them on Fri., and I order a spray can of frost white to touch up the paint. I should be working on my EF. This is one of the reasons I was leary about buying another honda!

Ran into a problem Need some EF info.
So I'm doing a swap on a freinds 89" HF CRX. I'm putting in a D16A6 (si). I had planned to use the crank pulley & crank bolt off of the HF motor on the A6. How ever the HF bolt is bigger than the A^ crank bolt.

I've tried differnt bolts from diffrent bolck. D & B series and the one on the A6 is smaller. Is this only on this motor?

Also Let em make shure I got this rite aswell.

HF axcels will fit in the SI tranny, but SI axcels won't fit HF. ???
