originally came from florida the motor burnt mass oil so I swapped the stock a6 out and replaced it with my .30 over rebuilt d16a6.

has k sport coilover full damper system

I have a set of kosei k-1s for it that i purchased of crxbart . but they wont go on intill aligned... i ran a 15.3 with it friday night.
not bad with just i/h/e

but I have arp head bolts. d16y8 3 layer headgasket, 929 rr itb's and my zex dry kit. but thats on hold for a few days..

well tell me what you think .. ps im from ohio so a find like this is extra special

Anybody want to recomend a good header for me? It's going on a b18c/b16a combo. Stock crossmember to remain. I'm leaning toward the compact an-r or smsp. Ground clearance is a must. Anybody have an experience with these? I know there are threads on here, but I wanted EF guys input

My choice for a header is RMF, I rememebr seeign a SMSP on a crx int the AM fourm. Fit really nice.

what's your build? maybe you don't needa custom header.

I went with the RMF header, but you need a after market crossmember to do that. Out of your two choices(anr, smsp) I would go with smsp.

b18c with jdm itr pistons, 2 layer headgasket, b16a head with some type of valve train. Probably ITR valves and skunk springs and cams (or something equivilent). I want 200whp, and I have a feeling the header is going to make difference. I need something with good crossmember and ground clearance. I could go rmf too. I have no experience with any of those nicer headers, so I don't really care which it is. The only reason I liked the an-r was it was a bit cheaper. Plus I really want to retain the DA radiator

Why not get a traction bar (they are useful) and some "jdm" 4-1 header.

4-1 headers have no ground clearance in a b swapped ef. My Megan 4-1 only has about 1.5" of ground clearance and I scrape even on bumpy freeways.

The RMF header is the best I have seen for an ef as far as clearance and performance. I have been wanting Randy to build me a header for a long time. Hopefully I can place in order this summer.

Then I'm stuck with a DC or something similar. I'm willing to spend the money on a decent header, to reach my whp goal. I'm hoping to find something for less money, but I don't know what rmf ones cost. Like Mekanism said, mass produced 4-1's have no ground clearance. Otherwise I would just go with an ITR. I want to stay as oem as possible.

A traction bar is not out of the question, but I would prefer to be able to keep the oem crossmember for now. As a primary street car, I don't know if spending the money on a traction bar is worth it, at least not yet.

I have "read" that 4-1 is basically a straight away header for racing and most of the time has very low clearance.
I just too need something for ground clearance for daily.
my Airmass header never failed me on the D series I might end up getting another set for the B
But I haven't heard any reviews on them
